Description

Electrotherapy at home and away

Electrotherapy is a physiotherapy based on the controlled effect of electric current on the body. It is used as part of rehabilitation after illnesses, as well as in cosmetology. Contraindications to electrotherapy with pulsed currents make such a procedure "chosen", requiring documentary permission from the attending physician.

This term refers to a procedure during which the body is affected by currents of low voltage and strength. The sensitivity to such currents in different parts of the body varies, so the lower extremities are most powerfully affected, and the skin of the face and mucous membranes are the weakest. The device of low-frequency electrotherapy is used in the treatment of:

disorders of cerebral circulation;

vegetative dystonia;

pathology of the digestive system;

hyper- and hypotension;

angina;

atherosclerosis;

neurasthenic disorders

High-frequency electrotherapy is a method of influencing the human body, which consists in the use of alternating current of high, ultra-high and ultra-high frequencies, named after the French physicist and physiologist Arsene D'Arsonval. There are local and general darsonvalization.

The course of general electrotherapy consists of 20-30 procedures and is used for the following diseases:

hypertension

migraine

varicose veins

hemorrhoids

increased fatigue

frostbite and incurable ulcers

The use of local high-frequency electrotherapy is widespread in cosmetology. During the impact of the electrode on the skin of the face and neck is a one-time spasm of blood vessels, in which blood and lymph begin to circulate intensively throughout the body, eliminating congestion, normalizes turgor and skin tone.

For cosmetic purposes, darsonvalization is used:

After medical and hygienic facial cleansing

Just before applying the mask or nourishing cream

In order to eliminate the signs of dry, flabby, withering skin

With oily skin

Combined with a head massage

High-frequency electrotherapy is an effective and non-traumatic method of exposure that causes positive emotions in the patient and provides a lasting and visible result.
